A QUICK LOOK AT DELHI: ONE DAY IN CAPITAL CITY of india

With just a day to look at Delhi, how much of a city could i see? Thanks to the online taxi services, we persevered on exploring the most of delhi in one day, jumping between driver to driver on taxi’s. Delhi has places like “chandni chowk”- The busiest shopping street and also some of the “most expensive real estate in the world”. From the largest mall in the country to the best street food & historical architecture Delhi has it all.

Being able to cover number of sight in a small amount of time. Just follow me along.

Getting to Delhi?

There are tons of frequent domestic flight connecting to delhi. It has even international flights all over the world. Travelling within Delhi would be ease by metro Or else by Uber or Ola.

Where to stay in Delhi ?

There’s a lot of option you can choose from Highly priced luxurious hotel to more budget-friendly hotel. Can select the one suits the best. staywell hotel, De Pavilion Hotel ,Ajanta Hotel etc.

What to see in Delhi?

There’s a bunch of things we didn’t manage to explore, but this article could serve as the quick guide.

HUMAYUN’S TOMB

This fine mausoleum sits in the centre of city covering large area islolating itself for crowded city defined by buildings dates back to 1570, it’s certainly more beautiful than photos I have seen online. The gardens are perfectly manicured, “the paths and gardens have been aesthetically designed and laid out, it was a sweet spot to stumble upon and offers excellent photography opportunities.

Humayun’s Tomb

JAMA MASJID

This Red stone Mughal-style mosque commonly known as the Jama Masjid of Delhi, is one of the largest mosques in India. This Mosques is impressive, and has its own unique design. The Jama Masjid won’t be open for visitors during prayer time, ornate design and white marble does give a glimming effects under lighting conditions.

RED FORT

The Red Fort or Lal Qila is a historic fort in Old Delhi, Delhi in India that served as the main residence of the Mughal Emperors. It’s vast with beautiful texture and ornate design. From the top you could see wonder of world ( Taj mahal ). It’s well worth paying for the guide to keep you engage in history & see all ancients defense, & water supply techniques employed in 16th century.

LOTUS TEMPLE

Notable for its flowerlike shape, it has become a prominent attraction in the city. Laid in middle of green field. It looks amazing. Sadly, because of our delay couldn’t capture the sheer view. This place has even free entry and is well accessible via metro. it has been spellbinding visitors with its structural beauty and symbolism of oneness. The lush green landscapes around the main structure add further to its entrancing beauty.

QUTUB MINAR

Qutub Minar is one of the highest minarets in India with a height of 73 meters. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the tallest brick minaret in the world. It lies in outskirts of Delhi, encircled by mosques and other damaged monuments. The Minar is etched with verses from the Quran which look surprising. Place is well-looked-after and aesthetically improved with lush green gardens.
